Starting at the beginning...

This is a picture of Cole the very first day we met...
hahaha
Cole and I met at a munch and mingle in our ward. My roommates and I had this great calling. After feeding everyone I sat down at a table with my roommate and another new guy in our ward. All of a sudden "this guy" sits down and the first thing he says is

"If my nose disgusts you let me know and I'll go sit at another table."

Funny from the start...

Cole had just moved into our complex. The day before he went fourwheeling with some friends and some how crashed and hit his face on the steering wheel.

Wasn't quite love at first sight but he totally made an impression.

This is Cole a few weeks after we became more serious...
He had a bad accident and broke his neck, flipped a bone in his wrist and broke his foot.
I think he may have taken too much pain medication in this picture. He managed to get himself stuck and fell over trying to get out!
I may have to wrap him in bubble wrap!
Or my kids if they are anything like him.
Love you Coley Woley!!!

Hot Tub Fact...

Here is a little interesting (well, more gross) fact that I learned in class yesterday...
A person will release 1 pint of sweat when sitting in a hot tub (104 degrees) every 20 mintues.
So...
If you have 8 people sitting in a hot tub for 20 mintues there is 1 gallon of sweat!!!
YUCK!!!
Oh and have you ever seen white foam that is in a hot tub sometimes? Well that's frothy amino acids... ewww!! It makes me gag thinking of little kids putting that on their faces!!
HAPPY HOT TUBBING!!

Lamborghini Estoque

I think I've decided that when my car has finally given up on me that I will get this car.
I think Cole will totally go for it!
What do you think?

Oh my... mm, mmm, mmmmm!

Happy Birthday To Me!

This past week has been a pretty good week!!
Wednesday was my birthday so I was able to take half a day off of work which is always nice. I went and got my hair did then that night Cole and I went to Cafe Rio and the Jazz game. I can't believe it is basketball season already. Our friends Tom and Amanda are huge Jazz fans so we usually end up watching majority of the games with them. It was way fun to actually go to the game even though we are totally in the nose bleed section!

Maybe next game we will sit closer!! :-)

My sweetheart of a husband got me this...
for my birthday!!! I was so excited! Ipod's have been out for how long now?!?! I figured it was about time that I get one. Cole has been really sweet setting it up for me and adding music all the time!
Friday at work Cole called and asked if I wanted to head to Las Vegas that night... what the heck right?! His brother and sister-in-law had a room for the weekend so we went and played with them. We had a good time!!
My favorite line of the weekend... Cole sees a Ferrari and says "That's not a Ferrari... that's a rent-a-fari!" He's too funny!!!!!

"I'll spit on you." haha...

California Post #1

FYI... This will be a long post and detailed for my memories.
My parents were sweet enough to take our whole family to Disneyland and SeaWorld at the beginning of October. All 21 of us!!! Quite the crowd.
Breakdown of the trip:
Saturday - Drive to Las Vegas to spend the night.
Sunday - Drive to Anaheim. We stopped in Primm to ride the roller coaster and we hit a killer sale at the outlets.
Monday - First day at Disneyland. It was so fun to be there and see everything decorated for Halloween. One of my favorite rides was the Haunted House because they changed the whole thing to The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Tuesday - Another day at Disneyland.
Wednesday - Drive to San Diego. Went to Tijuana. Went to the beach. Went to a Mexican restuarant with the whole family. It had a great atmosphere.
Thursday - Went to SeaWorld.
Friday - Drive to Mesquite to spend the night.
Saturday - On our way home!
I wish we would have stayed 2 more days in California. I think most of us weren't ready to head home quite yet.

Cole and I are slackers when it comes to taking pictures so these are the few that we took with our camera. I'll be posting more when I get the pictures from everyone else.
Day 2 at Disneyland

Second day at Disneyland. Teacups!
Our goofy pics on the teacups.

Huge Candy Corn.

On the new Toy Story ride. It broke down while our whole family was riding it so we all got a few passes to skip the huge line to ride it again. It was way fun!
I kicked everyones trash the last time we went on the ride and got a score of 160,000!!!

Chris and me

Alisa and me. She really doesn't have crazy eyes!

Cole pretending to be a bug while waiting for the Bug's Life show.

TIJUANA....
Day 3

Hmm... What can I say about this place.

While we were in San Diego we had a free day so we decided to go to Tijuana since Cole had never been there before and I went once when I was really little with my family.

There were drugstores on every corner and I guess if you wear a white coat you are considered a pharmacist.

Honestly this was my least favorite part of our trip. I don't like being pressured by people to look at their selection or try on sunglasses.

Word we heard all day:

"Give me one Mexican minute."

"Honeymooners."

"Pretty lady."

We had to walk over this to get to Tijuana. It smelt like a toilet.

Day 4 SeaWorld

Waiting for the park to open.

First thing we did when we got to SeaWorld was feed and pet the dolphins. It was a really cool experience. Maybe we can swim with dolphins when we go on our cruise.

Cole petting and feeding the dolphin. The stupid bird in this picture stole our last fish from the dolphin. Those buggers are fast!!

First show that we went to.
Stupid us.... the first 8 or so rows don't have any signs on it about being a splash zone. But the rows above us do so we decide to stay where we were at. BAD, BAD idea!!!! We were soaked and it was just the beginning of the day. Most of us girls were upset at first but it kept us cool for the rest of the day.

Picture after the first round of being soaked.

Shamo!
That's all the pictures we have. It was a great time and so fun to spend a whole week with my family. I really enjoy their company.
Thanks Mom and Dad... the trip was a success!!!

Cole carved a scary face and I carved an eyeball.

All of us with our pumpkins. (Peter, Lisa, Aimee, Kelly, Me and Cole)

Fun!!
Thanks you guys. We had a good time!

St. George

Yeah for girls weekend!!

Every year the girls in Cole's family gets together around Christmas time for a girls night. This year they decided to bag Christmas and go spend the weekend down in St. George and go to Tuacahn. I love Tuacahn and I've been a few times with my parents.

This weekend we saw Big River and Les Miserables. I liked Big River a lot more than I would have thought and Les Miserables was hard to follow sometimes but was really good. I need to go see it again! And sometime I would like to see Thriller.

The weekend was full of food, shopping and a good time. Thanks Jeannie for everything. And next year we really need to hit up Chippendales or The Thunder Down Under!!! :-)
And of course I never take pictures so I have nothing to show for the weekend. I really need to get into a better habit! If only Cole would share the camera!! haha :-)

Pig Abuse

I like sausage and bacon and all that good stuff but I think I'm turning to an animal activist! I keep hearing about all the abuse that is going on with the pigs used for Hormel and it's disguisting. I won't go into detail because it makes me sick. Ever since we've had dogs I've found this soft spot in my heart for animals. Every time I look on KSL and there's a story on animal abuse I get so sad and upset.

And for a softer place in my heart... I can only imagine how I will be once I have kids of my own. From our discussion at lunch today at work (another discussion that I won't go into details)... if anyone ever touched my kids.......There'll be hell to pay and you better hope that there isn't a weapon within my reach!

If for some reason Cole and I never had kids (which we will in time... don't worry) it will because this is such a horrible place to bring a child into. There is so much evil, all the time. We'll do what we can to provide a home that is safe and has a good environment. And I won't let our kids leave our side when we are on vacation, too many horror stories!

Sorry for such a downer of a post.

Creepy...

Last night around 4 am Elli starts whining which most of the time means she wants to go see and feed her puppies. So I nudge Cole and ask him if he would take her down stairs. As he is doing that I hear this noise coming from behind our house. (First off there are no houses behind ours, just a trail, a bunch of trees and then the river. Can be creepy sometimes.) At first I thought it was some kind of duck that was stuck or something. Then the noise was happening every 30 seconds or so. Cole finally comes back up to bed and I ask him if he heard that noise and of course he says "What noise?" Then it starts back up again. Over and over again. It now sounds really fake, almost like a squeaky dog toy. Then that noise stops and now it sounds like an owl, over and over again!!!

Lisa did you guys hear anything last night?

Any who... so Cole and I being the dorks we are, slowly slide off our bed and crawl to the open windows and lift our heads barely high enough to stare into the trees to see if we can see anything. We don't want whoever is out there to see us!! ha ha. Finally it stops after like 5 or 10 minutes.

Then as I leave for work this morning it seemed like there were a bunch of cops patrolling the neighborhood.

What kind of creep is out in a field of trees at 4 in the morning making bird noises?!?!?!

For you Mom...

I guess she checks the blog everyday looking for new pictures of the puppies so here they are!

They will be 5 weeks this Sunday. We have 6 sold already out of the 9, 3 more to go, yeah! They are super cute right now. They are really starting to get personalities and pooping a lot.

Just chillaxin'

She is so cute. She puts her head back and howls like a wolf if she isn't getting enough attention.

I've gotcha!
Well we have them for 2 more weeks if anyone wants to see them!
